Amerisource #2 in Houston for Revenue Growth

Houston, TX – Amerisource announces that it has been recognized by the University of Houston Small Business Development Center as the #2 private company in Houston for revenue growth in fiscal years 1998-2000.
The recognition was part of the annual The Houston 100 awards, announced today at the annual celebratory luncheon at the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston. Over 1,000 people in the Houston area business community attended the luncheon, which was sponsored by Comerica Bank, Southwestern Bell, the Houston Business Journal and the Greater Houston Partnership.
Amerisource was honored for several other awards at the luncheon as well, including making The Houston 100 list, as well as runner-up for the Southwestern Bell Award for revenue growth and jobs creation. Amerisource posted revenues in excess of $75 million in fiscal year 2000 and revenue growth of 211 percent (211%) over the three-year period.
