Matt Brice brings more than 13 years of commercial banking experience to Amerisource, with extensive expertise in energy lending across the exploration and production (E&P), midstream, and oilfield services sectors. His background also includes significant experience in special assets and workout situations.

Prior to joining Amerisource in 2023, Matt spent more than a decade with Capital One’s Energy Banking group, where he served as an underwriter beginning in 2011. During his tenure, he navigated multiple energy market cycles, developing deep expertise in credit analysis, risk management, and structuring financing solutions for companies across the energy industry. Matt earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Houston. He also proudly served four years in the United States Navy.
